Once your website has gone live and starts getting visitors, it's vital you give them a good impression by keeping it well maintained. The onus here is on you! I can assist in all the technical and design aspects of your website and make updates for you, but it's for you to decide what to update and when and get in touch to make the relevant changes.
I offer several different maintenance options – I’d be happy to discuss what would be best for you.
The recommended option for the vast majority of clients. Pay £75 in advance and I'll provide unlimited maintenance updates for a year. Whether you end up needing 3 update or 300, it's all covered under the contract and you can be guaranteed a fast response to your maintenance requests. Updates are always made within 24 hours and usually within just one! (If I'm going on holiday I'll let you know in pleanty of time). The all-in-one fee provides exceptional value for money and I'd recommend it to almost all clients.
Big changes to your site may be charged an excess.
If you know you aren't going to be making many updates at all, you may wish to consider instead the pay per update scheme. It's all in the name - you pay a fee each time you want a modification. There is a minimum fee of £5 per update and the actual fee depends on how long the work takes.
All hosting packages include FTP access enabling you to make your own updates if you're tech-savy.
Content Management Systems are allways an option
